Yes. A Paintvine Paint and sip is a relaxed, creative hen party activity that gives the whole group something fun to do together. It works well as an afternoon activity, the beginning of a night out or part of a full hen weekend—and no painting experience is required.
What happens at a Paintvine hen party?
A Paintvine artist guides your group through the activity step by step while you chat, enjoy drinks and create your own artwork. We provide the materials, set everything up and clear the art supplies away afterwards. Each guest can take their finished creation home.
Can we choose between Paint & Sip and Sculpt & Sip?
Yes. Your hen party can choose a private Paint & Sip or Sculpt & Sip experience. During Paint & Sip, guests create their own canvas paintings. At Sculpt & Sip, guests learn the basics of working with air-dry clay before designing their own individual creations.
Do we need any painting or sculpting experience?
No experience is needed. Paintvine’s Paint & Sip and Sculpt & Sip hen parties are designed for complete beginners. Your artist will demonstrate the techniques, guide the group throughout the session and help anyone who needs additional support.
What does a Paintvine hen party include?
Paintvine provides an experienced artist, step-by-step instruction and all the art materials required for your chosen activity. For Paint & Sip, this includes canvases, easels, paint, brushes and aprons. We also handle the setup and clear away the art materials after the event.
How long does a Paintvine hen party last?
A typical Paintvine hen party lasts approximately two hours. We recommend that guests arrive around 15 minutes before the scheduled start time to get settled, put on their aprons and purchase drinks if the event is taking place at a licensed venue.
How much does a Paintvine hen party cost?
Private Paint & Sip and Sculpt & Sip hen parties start from £32 plus VAT per person. A travel fee or venue spend may also apply depending on where your event takes place. Paintvine will confirm the cost in your personalised quote.
What is the minimum group size for a private hen party?
Paintvine’s minimum private-event fee is based on 13 guests. Groups with fewer than 13 people can still book a private event by covering the minimum fee. Alternatively, smaller hen parties can book tickets to attend one of Paintvine’s public events.
Where can we hold our Paintvine hen party?
Your hen party can take place at your accommodation, a suitable private space or one of Paintvine’s partner venues. We host creative hen parties across more than 20 UK cities, including London, Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, Bristol, Brighton, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Cardiff and Belfast.
Can Paintvine come to our hen party accommodation?
Yes. Paintvine can bring the artist and materials to suitable houses, apartments and other hen party accommodation. You will need enough tables and chairs for the group, suitable access to the property and permission from the accommodation provider to hold the activity there.
Are drinks included in a Paintvine hen party?
Drinks are not included in Paintvine’s event price. At licensed venues, guests can purchase drinks directly from the bar. This allows you to purchase your chosen drinks without any limitations.
Can we choose what we paint or sculpt?
Yes. Paint & Sip groups can choose from Paintvine’s collection of popular paintings and seasonal designs. At Sculpt & Sip, guests begin by learning how to create a pinch pot before transforming it into their own individual creation. Bespoke painting designs may also be available for an additional fee.
How do I book a Paintvine hen party?
Choose your preferred date, approximate group size, activity and location, then complete Paintvine’s event enquiry form. We will confirm availability and send you a personalised quote. Once the required deposit has been paid, your private hen party will be secured.
